Guided Imagery and Visualization is the oldest form of medicine for mind-body healing, and is a holistic, drug free way for self- empowerment and personal growth to help you reach goals you desire. Guided Imagery is an extremely powerful, yet safe therapeutic approach to mobilizing the untapped resources of mind for Positive Change.
Dana Green uses a wide range of imagery techniques, and acts as a Coach, to help you find new and creative solutions for the purpose of achieving positive change of Body-Mind-Spirit.
Symptoms of illness are a wake up call, an indication that something is out of balance and needs to be adjusted, or changed. Imagery is a means of transformation, and liberation from unconscious distortions that may be shaping your health and life, and to respond to its message in the healthiest of ways.
There are not two minds, only two states of consciousness. While the conscious, critical part of mind is relaxed and quiet, the subconscious “healing” part of mind is fully alert, responsive and has the ability to identify and move through emotional blocks, which in turn will assist in making positive changes that may have been very hard to make previously. Most important, the subconscious mind strives to protect us from harm, danger, and pain.
Imagery as a healing modality really came to light in the late 1960's by radiation oncologist Carl Simonton and wife, whose patients with untreatable cancer seemed to recover who had used imagery and visualization to stimulate immune response.

LENGTH OF A SESSION
A typical session usually lasts 60-90 minutes. We start with an interview to discuss your
specific problem, and desired outcome. All sessions are held in strict confidence.
HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED
You may benefit from a single session, depending on the individual need and motivation,
or several sessions may be required if you are dealing with a chronic, or serious illness.
IS GUIDED IMAGERY SAFE
Yes. No risks are associated with it, although it is better with an experienced practitioner.
WHAT IS THE FEE CHARGED
The Fee is $50 for a single session. A sliding scale may be provided upon request.
